Butterfly You · Relax & Unwind
Massage Treatments
For tired muscles, busy minds — or simply because you'd like some time for yourself.
You don't need to know which style of massage to book before you arrive here. Start with what you'd like from the appointment: focused attention on an aching back, a full hour to switch off, warming aromatherapy, or something a little more restorative.
We'll help you choose the massage that feels right for you.

What would you like from your massage?
Rather than asking you to understand a list of massage names, we've organised them around what you might actually be looking for.

A mineral-rich back exfoliation is removed with warm mitts before a relaxing back, neck and shoulder massage.

MY HEAD, NECK & SHOULDERS NEED ATTENTION
Indian Head Massage

A focused treatment working across the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp and head. Ideal when you'd like something shorter and deeply relaxing without committing to a full-body massage.
Best for: head and scalp · neck and shoulders · shorter relaxation treatment
Choosing your time
30 minutes or 90?
There isn't a better massage length — it depends what you want from the appointment.
30–45 minutes works well when you want us to concentrate on a particular area or you don't have long.
60 minutes gives enough time for a traditional full-body treatment and a proper chance to settle.
75–90 minutes is for when you want more time, a slower pace and less sense of the treatment being over just as you've started to switch off.
Your treatment
Tell us what your body needs today.
You don't need to arrive with a perfect explanation. Just tell us what you've noticed.
Maybe your shoulders feel particularly tight. Perhaps you've been sitting at a desk all week, or you simply feel tired everywhere.
We'll work within the massage and time you've booked, but where possible we'll adjust focus and pressure around you.
You never need to worry about sounding fussy. The more we understand, the better we can look after you.
“Probably the best massage I have ever had. Thank you so much.”

Questions you might have
-
If you've never had a massage before, you don't need to worry about choosing the 'right' one.
A good place to start is by thinking about what you want from the time, rather than trying to understand different massage techniques.
If your back, neck or shoulders are where you notice the most tension, our Back, Neck & Shoulders Massage gives us dedicated time to focus there.
If you'd like to experience a traditional massage across the whole body, Swedish Massage is a lovely first choice. You can choose 60, 75 or 90 minutes depending on how much time you'd like to give yourself.
If warmth, beautiful aromas and a more sensory treatment appeal to you, have a look at our Aromatherapy Candle Massage. Or, if what you're really craving is a chance to switch your mind off, our Anti-Stress Aromatherapy Massage combines work across the back, neck and shoulders with a head massage.
There's no expectation that you'll arrive knowing massage terminology or exactly what your body needs. If you're still unsure, ask us. Helping you feel comfortable starts before the treatment does.

There's no perfect massage length — it depends on what you'd like us to achieve with the time.
If there's one particular area you'd like us to concentrate on, such as your back, neck and shoulders, 30 or 45 minutes can work really well.
For a traditional full-body massage, 60 minutes gives your therapist time to work across the body while still allowing you to settle into the treatment.
If one of the main reasons you're booking is because you want to properly slow down, 75 or 90 minutes gives us more time and allows the treatment to feel less hurried. It can also allow more attention to individual areas, depending on the massage you've chosen.
And there's something very real that happens with longer massages: sometimes it takes a little while simply to stop thinking about everything else. If you're someone who takes time to switch off, you may appreciate giving yourself the extra time.
If you're unsure, tell us what you'd like from your massage and we'll help you choose the duration.

Yes, massage can be an option during pregnancy, but pregnancy massage requires some additional considerations around your stage of pregnancy, health, positioning and comfort.
That's why we've created a dedicated Pregnancy Massage rather than simply asking you to choose one of our standard massages and hoping we'll adapt it when you arrive.
We'll explain how the treatment works, how we help you get comfortable as your body changes and anything we need to know before your appointment.
If you're pregnant, we'd therefore recommend starting with our Pregnancy Massage page rather than booking one of the standard massages above.

There isn't a rule — and we don't think you need one.
For some clients, massage is something they book occasionally when their shoulders start feeling tight or life has been particularly busy.
For others, it's part of their routine. They might come every few weeks or once a month because they know how much they value having that protected time to themselves.
And some clients simply book another one when they leave because they already know they'll want to come back.
How often feels right for you can depend on why you're coming, how your body feels, your lifestyle, your available time and, realistically, your budget too.
We'd rather help you find a rhythm that works for your life than tell you there's a frequency everybody 'should' follow.
-
Before your treatment begins, we'll take a little time to talk to you about how you're feeling, what you'd like from your massage and whether there's anything we need to be aware of.
You can tell us about areas that feel particularly tight or tired, where you'd like us to focus, anything you'd prefer us to avoid and the sort of pressure you usually enjoy — or simply tell us you've never had a massage before and have no idea what to ask for.
We'll explain what you need to do before getting onto the treatment bed and then give you privacy to get ready.
You won't be expected to know the routine.
Once you're comfortable, that's when your time really starts.
